Youth Ministry

Welcome to the Youth Ministry

Welcome to Emmanuel’s Youth and Family Ministry. Our mission is to build a Christ-centered community of young people where God’s Spirit transforms their lives – as we together worship, learn, love, share and serve. Every year the programs and activities for our youth and families look a little different, but the underlying goals remain the same.

Youth Ministries

  • Faith Formation

Every Sunday, relevant and engaging faith formation class is held upstairs in the youth room “The Oasis” for middle and high school students. It is every Sunday morning from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

  • Youth and Family Outings

Every month we strive to have a fun youth and/or youth and family event. We can always use parents to volunteer and help us with our mission. Join us for a fun family outing.

  • Trips - Day or Weekend

Several times during the year we have special day trips to Tampa or Orlando. We always attend the “Rock the Universe” event in September. We also gather once a year for a retreat.

  • Camps and Mission Trips

Every summer we plan a trip for youth. It is either a camp experience in central Florida, or North Carolina, a mission trip experience, or a trip to the ELCA Youth Gathering.

  • Confirmation

Emmanuel’s Confirmation Program is a two and a half year program that includes seven core components. The goal of this Confirmation program is to educate and assimilate youth into the life of the church.
