Contemporary - Alive Worship Services

Alive / Contemporary

Emmanuel’s Alive Service blends together contemporary, lively music with the rich tradition of Lutheran liturgy into a beautiful marriage of old and new. Where else would you be able to walk through the four lectionary years while singing the music of Chris Tomlin and other modern Christian music? Each week brings something different with guest musicians, new arrangements, or special requests. Each week is filled with congregational favorites for you to sing out, rock out, and live out your faith by joining in song with the Alive family.

Join us this Sunday and experience God Alive with us!

Services are held in the Family Life Center at 10:00 AM. There are refreshments and fellowship at the beginning and the end of the service.

Any questions, please contact Jim Cooper ELCA Deacon, Youth and Family Ministry (jim@naplesemmanuel.org).

And be sure to pick up a few of our invitation cards so you can spread the word to your family, friends, and neighbors.

Sunday Education Forum

For a while now many have been asking if there is a way we can connect and learn together on Sunday morning following the Alive contemporary worship service. The answer is yes. We began meeting back in October. We started with a fantastic course called ALPHA.

In February we began a new educational series called THE BIBLE PROJECT. Using this series, we have started our first seven-week course, learning about the Torah, otherwise known as the first five books of the Bible. It is a powerful overview that will lead you to a deeper understanding of God's salvation story.  Please click here if you would like to learn more about this innovative ministry:
